The tiles of the Cave series belong to the marble-effect porcelain stoneware. This tile is characterised by having veins of different light grey shades. Each tile has a different pattern that gives a certain movement to the room in which you place it.

The 6 mm thickness is perfect if you need to pave over an existing floor; they are also suitable for tiling entire walls. In addition, because the format is larger than usual, you will see fewer joints and feel like you have a floor that is one.

Laying tip: when you have this type of tile laid, you must ensure, in order to achieve a uniform effect, that the tiler lays in the direction of the grain. If, on the other hand, you prefer a more untidy effect, then the tiles can be laid without following the direction of the grain. Also, pay attention to how the tiler handles these tiles: they are very large and thin, so it is imperative that he picks them up and lays them with great care.

Cleaning and maintenance: the polished surface is more delicate than the natural one, but being marble effect porcelain stoneware and not real marble, it is much more resistant to scratches and abrasions. To clean a polished surface, I recommend that you do not use aggressive detergents. Instead, use neutral floor cleaners.
