Large format tiles

Large format tiles are one of the current trends in the world of porcelain stoneware.

Undoubtedly the prices of large format porcelain stoneware are higher, but the effect you get is different depending on whether you use it for floor or wall tiles.

If you choose this type of tile for your home, it means that you like to see the floor as a whole, as the presence of joints is definitely less and less visible. Large formats are modern and are perfect for large spaces because they give you the feeling of an even larger space.

However, you do not necessarily have to use large format tiles only if you have a huge room: small spaces are also suitable for this type of tile. In fact, you can also use large format porcelain stoneware tiles to cover the walls of your bathroom. What do you get? An extremely elegant and modern bathroom at the same time.

From the point of view of aesthetics, a room with large tiles is more modern and less chaotic: joints are really reduced to a minimum. What emerges is the texture of the surface that seems never to be interrupted

It must be emphasised, however, that the laying of these formats is much more delicate and difficult: in fact, the installer must be able to handle the tile both before and during installation. This is because, being very large, there is a risk that they will break more easily if not properly gripped and laid.
