Kalika sauna: bring the benefits of a Finnish sauna into your home

Kalika is a sauna that offers the benefits of a Finnish sauna and, with the addition of an optional extra, can also become a bio sauna.

The aesthetics are minimalist, essential and modern at the same time. The modernity is dictated by technological details such as the steel stove and digital keypad. The essentiality is given by the full-height glass, cedar wood and suspended benches, which lighten the design.

The steel stove is the perfect element for those who want to find the right balance between heat and humidity.

Composition and materials of the Kalika sauna

• cedar wood for the interior and exterior walls;
• heat-treated ash wood for the suspended benches;
• Complete cedar platform as a base;
• doors and fixed sides in 8mm tempered transparent glass;
• for wall or corner installation.

Customising the sauna by adding the optional “bio sauna” feature costs an additional € 1,700.

The difference between a Finnish sauna and a bio sauna

The difference between a classic Finnish sauna and a bio sauna lies in the internal temperature and humidity level.

Specifically:

• Finnish sauna: temperature between 90°-95° and humidity level of 20%;
• bio sauna: temperature between 60°-65° and humidity level of 70%.

Essentially, the bio sauna is a compromise between a Turkish bath and a classic Finnish sauna, ideal for those who prefer a more humid environment with lower temperatures.
