The choice of washbasins for the bathroom furniture is also important: shape, material and size are just some of the characteristics to evaluate before purchasing.

The first thing to pay attention to is the type of washbasin you prefer: built-in or countertop. If you prefer to see continuity between the cabinet top and the washbasin, then the right one for you is the built-in one. If, on the other hand, you prefer to create a different bathroom, more design-oriented and with a few special pieces, then you can opt for the countertop washbasin. This way it will certainly stand out more when looking at the bathroom furniture as a whole. Remember, however, that if the basin will be countertop, you will have to choose the so-called 'tall' tap: that is, it will have a different height than the one you would mount on a countertop basin. Always choose a faucet that is comfortable and allows you to wash your hands comfortably, without bumping into the side of the basin.

There is a wide range of shapes to choose from, from round to oval, rectangular to square, and in order to create a coherent bathroom design, we tend to choose the shape of the wash basin in line with the taps and fittings and the shape of the sanitary ware. For a modern bathroom, therefore, favour a squarer washbasin, while for a bathroom with a more traditional feel, stick to round shapes.
